New Additions to Motorola’s G Series: Moto G04 and G24

Motorola is expanding its G series with two new phones: the Moto G04 and the Moto G24. Recent leaks, including images and a video, have revealed the designs of these upcoming smartphones. Owned by Lenovo, the brand seems to adopt a similar design language across all the new models in the Moto G series.

Design Similarities with Other Models

The Moto G04 and G24 models share design elements with previously leaked models such as the G24 Power and G34. They feature a rectangular camera bump that touches the edges of the back panel. This design is reminiscent of the camera elevation found on OPPO’s Find X6 and Reno 8 series phones. The devices are characterized by box-like designs with volume control buttons and a power button on the right side, with the power button doubling as a fingerprint scanner.

Front Display and Camera Specifications

On the front, both the Moto G04 and G24 models sport a centrally aligned punch-hole display design with a considerably thick bottom bezel. Leaked visuals indicate that the G04 will have a single 16MP rear camera, while the G24 will boast a 50MP main camera along with a secondary lens. The Moto G04 features a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, a USB-C port, a speaker grille, and a microphone at the bottom.

Color Options and Market Positioning

According to the leaked images, the Moto G04 will be available in dark blue, green, black, and orange color options. The Moto G24, on the other hand, will be released in shades of green, black, and pink, and is expected to succeed the G23 model.
