Release Date Announced for South Park: Snow Day!
South Park Digital Studios and THQ Nordic GmbH have announced today that SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY!, the latest game from the critically acclaimed South Park franchise, will be available on March 26, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. Starting now, fans can also place pre-orders for both the standard and collector’s editions. The collector’s edition is priced at 989 Polish Zloty and will have a highly limited release in Poland.
Successor to Popular South Park RPGs
In 2014, the humor-filled RPG South Park: The Stick of Truth, developed by Obsidian Studio, was warmly received by gamers. As a satirical RPG, it was successful enough that three years later, fans were treated to another installment in the series – South Park: The Fractured But Whole, which was developed by Ubisoft, the original publisher of the series. Nearly two years ago, it was revealed that the franchise would continue with a new title, South Park: Snow Day!, being prepared by Question LLC (The Blackout Club). Although South Park: Snow Day! will feature some different gameplay solutions, the trademark heavy humor is expected to remain constant. Today, we have learned the exact release date for the game as March 26, 2024.
Collector’s Edition Details Revealed
Alongside the announcement, the publisher (THQ Nordic) has shared what will be included in the collector’s edition:
– A Grand Wizard Cartman snow globe (12.5 cm in diameter, 17 cm in height, made of glass and resin)
– A talking Grand Wizard Cartman toilet paper holder
– A Grand Wizard Cartman knitted cap
– 6 Tarot cards
– Original soundtrack on an audio CD
– Full game on your platform of choice
